BEACH TOUR OF INDIA

From the tranquility of the beaches in Kovalam to the extravaganza of music and dance in Goa, this tour offers it all. Experience a close encounter with the diverse wildlife of India in their natural habitat or go for a boat-ride on the backwaters. Bask in the sun on the golden sand or absorb the beauty of lush coconut palms. Experience this heady mixture of varied activities.

Day 1 : Arrive Bombay Meet and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 2 : Bombay/Goa Morning transfer to the Airport to board flight for Goa. Meet and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 3 : Goa Full day city sight seeing tour covering St. Cathedral, River Mandovi, Statue of Abbe Faria, Aguada Fort etc. Overnight stay.

Day 4 : Goa/Cochin Morning : transfer to the airport to board flight for Cochin. On arrival in Cochin meet and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon: Proceed for the hard day city tour covering Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, Mattancherry, St. Francis Church. In the evening visit Indian Classical Dance (Kathak). Overnight stay.

Day 5 : Cochin/Allepey Morning : proceed for a half day tour of Gundu Island which is a tour in a boat-ride through the backwaters to the various islands where coir mat making and other cottage industries can be seen. Afternoon : drive to Allepey. On arrival check into hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 6 : Allepey/Kottayam/Periyar Morning proceed through the backwater cruise to Kottayam. Afternoon : drive for Periyar Wild Life. Overnight stay at the lodge in Periyar.

Day 7 : Periyar Morning proceed for the full day excursion to the Jungle to view Elephants, Tiger, Sambar, Barking Deer etc. Overnight stay.

Day 8 : Periyar/Trivandrum/Kovalam Morning drive to Kovalam on arrival check into the hotel. Afternoon free at leisure at the Beach. Overnight stay.

Day 9 : Kovalam Half day sight-seeing Trivandrum covering Temples, Zoo, Museum etc. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 10 : Kovalam/Madurai After Breakfast-departure for Madurai. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon sightseeing. Overnight stay.

Day 11 : Madurai/Madras Morning at leisure and afternoon transfer to the airport to board flight for Madras. On arrival transfer to hotel in Mahaballipuram. Check into the hotel in Mahaballipuram. Overnight stay.

Day 12 : Mahaballipuram Full day sight-seeing and thereafter evening free at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 13 : Mahaballipuram Full day sight-seeing of Madras including Kanchipuram. Evening free leisure. Overnight at Mahaballipuram.

Day 14 : Mahaballipuram Morning free at leisure. Afternoon transfer to Madras Airport to board in the flight for next destination.
