Arr. Bhuwaneshwar :- Met upon Arrival & Transfer to hotel .
Rest of the day free
to see around the city – dinner and o/n in the hotel.
Day 2 - Bhuwaneshwar :- Morning city tour of Bhubaneswar. The well
planned capital of Orissa, is a city of temples. It had 7000 temples at
one time of which more than 500 remain today. These temples built over a
period of one thousand years reflect the grandeur of high quality
workmanship of Kalinga (ancient name of the State) temple art.Visit
Temples like, PARASURAMESWAR (7th A.D.) famous for its
latticed windows, MUKTESWAR (10th A.D.) with its
profusion of wall carvings, LINGARAJ (11th A.D.)dominates the
landscape rising to a high of 46 Mts. and finest representation of Kalinga
Art, BINDUSAGAR the Ocean drop tank, RAJARANI (11th
A.D.) with its Exquisite carvings and many more is a must for the
visitors.
Afternoon visit the twin hill UDAYAGIRI & KHANDAGIRI the
Jain Caves. Excavated in between2nd & 1st century B.C. By the famous king
of Kalinga, named KHARAVELA, was the rain resort of Jain
Monks.It is one of the earliest specimens of cave architecture of India.
Enjoy the lovely sunset on the small hill. Back to Hotel,
Day-3
A full day trip to the textile village of Orissa is something to be
discovered with its friendly people and traditional welcome. Orissa
handlooms has a rich tradition. They have been known far and wide for the
intricate and painstaking skill exhibited in their fabrics. After B/F
proceed to Nuapatna. This village with many co-operatives of
weavers, where centuries of tradition woven into fabric. The weavers of
this village are a class by themselves. Their TIE & DYE pattern
popularly known as 'IKAT' you can watch all
the step of Ikat Bandha .As per the tradition they weave in silk.
Tasser, ERI silk and also you will be able to follow its way form Cocoons
until the finished fabric. Later continue drive to sadaeibarani, the
village famous for the lost wax process , well known as Dokra Work.

Day-4
A full day trip to the wonder triangle-RATNAGIRI, LALITGIRI
& UDAYAGIRI situated 100 KM to the north east of Bhuwaneswar
possess the ruins of the most unique Buddhist monastic complex in the
world. All the monasteries impress the visitors as great monuments by
their sculptural wealth & architectural grandeur. Enroute visit some
beautiful roadside villages with traditional paintings. Back to the Hotel.

Day 5
Morning proceed to Puri enroute visit the colorfulpatch work
village Pipli.& Dhauli Later drive down to Konark., the magnificent
SUN TEMPLE of India sheer poetry in stone is known as Black Pagoda. This
13thcentury temple is a magnet to the visitors from allover the world. The
temple is in the architectural images of the mythical chariot of the Sun
God here the Kalingan temple style has reached in its grand climaxstage.
The left structure standing among the sand dunes of the Seashore is the
most impressive of the Orissa temples the horses at the entrance the
encircling friezes, the chariot wheels are executed with exuberance.
Afternoon Proceed to Puri & check into hotel. Late afternoon relax on the
beach. O/N
Day 6
After breakfast proceed to visit Puri, one o the four celebrated
religious centers of India, is famous all over the world for the great
temple of, Lord Jagannath situated on the cost of Bay of Bengal is a town
of eternal festival. Because of the intense religious importance and
hallowed tradition non-Hindus are not allowed within the Temple .Watch the
Temple from the Roof top. Later free time on the main Temple area. Later
drive down to Raghurajpur, the famous painting village of Orissa
and famous for its traditional Patta Chitra, Afternoon visit the
beautiful fishing village. Back to hotel. O/N
Day 7.
Today we will take you to the tribal highland of Orissa , is one
of the States in India, which can boast of a vast tribal population
belonging to diverse races and culture. It has the second largest
concentration of Tribes and constitutes an impressive 23 percent of the
total population of the state. . Tour to hill Tribes is extremely
interesting. The scenery is magnificent, the villages and hamlets are
fascinating Morning proceed to Baliguda in the district of Phubani,
through the beautiful countryside road full with small mountain sal
forest, one of the entry point to the tribal highland of Orissa,
enroute visit typical Orissan villages & Chilka Lake, , the
biggest brackish wetland of Asia is regarded as a marvel of nature.
Connected to the Bay of Bengal with a narrow channel. ,Arrive evening at

Day-08
After early breakfast proceed to
explore the villages of the primitive
Kutia Kondh tribal villages. Once famous for the human sacrifice,
living in the mountain/forest cores are friendly tribal community. We will
make you small/long trek as you wish. Later drive down to Rayagada.
Arrive evening. O/N hotel. Total Distance:- 190 km, 4hrs drive plus visit.
Day-09
Morning proceed to 35 kms to witness the interesting & colorful weekly
market of the Dongaria Kondh tribes. This day this interesting
ornamental tribes come down from their mountain well known as Niayamgiri
hill range. This is an unique opportunity to witness them before they come
& mix with other community in the market, So we will take you 2/3 km from
the market near the Niyamgiri hill, as to watch & enjoy these community
coming down with different kinds of fruits, animal etc.Free time in the
market. Later drive down to Jeypour enroute visit of Desia Kondh
villages. Arrive late afternoon, hotel. Total Distance:- 220km, 5 hrs
drive Plus visit.
Day-10th
After early B/F proceed to 70m km to witness the mostprimitive,
interesting & unique tribal weekly market of the Bonda tribes. .As soon
we will arrive near the market, you will be take inside for about 2/3 km
walk to witness the Bonda Man & woman coming down from the forest side. It
is being considered that at present Bonda are the most primitive tribe of
India or otherwise known as the naked tribes of the mountain., Later
free time in the market. Afternoon proceed to explore another primitive
tribal community the Gdabas. Hear you can watch the most colorful tribal
dance call Demsa (If every thing ok in the village & optional )Late
afternoon drive down to Jeypour.Total Distance:- 150km, 4hrs drive, plus
visit.
Day-11th
Morning proceed to witness the biggest tribal weekly market of Sanaparoja,
& Mali tribes in Kunduli, 65km away via Sunabeda. It is a very colorful
market. Later drive down to Nandapur to visit villages of Sana Paroja
tribes. Visit villages with small trekking. Later drive down to Jeypour.
Arrive evening. Total distance:-200km 5 hrs drive + visit.

Morning proceed to Kotpad to watch the traditional & only tribal dying
that exist to day is All dying. You can watch A to Z process hear.
Continue drive to Nabrangpur to watch the lacer work & also visit
the wild silk farm. Drive back to Jeypour enroute visit of a small tribal
weekly market. Return late afternoon to hotel. Total distance 150km
Day-12th
Morning proceed to Gupteshwar 70km to visit the villages of very
interesting Dhuruba tribe, Visit and walk/trek villages etc. is an
interesting tribe with the male people like to ornament themselves, live
in the border of Madhya Pradesh. Ladies are also ornamental with very
typical houses. Later visit the cave temple of Lord Shiva in the hidden
mountain. Later drive down to witness the beautiful tribal weekly market
Back to hotel at late afternoon. Total Distance:- 200km 5 hrs drive +

Day-13th
After early breakfast proceed to Vizag in the State of
Andrapradesh, a busy commercial town on the beach, Enroute visit some
typical & interesting villages of Andhra Pradesh. Arrive afternoon & check
in to hotel. Afternoon free for independent activities. O/N in the
hotel. . Total Distance 250 km
Day-14th
After breakfast proceed to Air port for on ward destination. |
