Day 04: Mysore:
This morning visit the sprawling Maharaja's Palace with its
outstanding treasures and ivory inlaid doors. The interior is also
lavishly decorated with stained glass, mirrors, pillars, paintings and
jewels. Later drive outside the city to Chamundi Hill and the huge
Nandi Bull statue. St. Philomena's Church & Mysore Zoo. Overnight
stay at Mysore.
Day 05: Mysore - Ooty (160 kms - 5 hrs)
Early morning after breakfast we proceed to Ooty enroute visit
Bandipur & Madumallai Wild Life Sanctuary and also fresh tea
gardens, reach Ooty and check in at Hotel. Later proceed for sight
seeing which include Ooty lake, Botanical Gardens, Dodda Betta, etc.
Overnight stay at Ooty.
Day 06: Ooty
Today you will proceed to Conoor to look from close quarter the Tea
Gardens , Sim's Park, Dolphin's Nose later back to Ooty visiting Film
shooting points. Overnight stay at Ooty.
Day 07: Ooty - Kodaikanal (260 kms - 6.5 hrs)
After early morning breakfast proceed to Kodaikanal enroute
visit Palani Temple, Arrive at Kodaikanal and check -in- at the Hotel.
Evening free of leisure . Overnight stay at Kodaikanal.
Day 08: Kodaikanal
Today the whole day is free. You may choose to visit the Kodaikanal
Lake, over an area of 60 acres and surrounded by wooded slopes. The
attractive walk around the lake lakes between one and a half hours.
Additionally, you have the option of boating or fishing. In and around
Kodaikanal to visit Cocker's Walk, Golf Links, Green Valley View,
Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls, Bear Shola Falls & the Lake
etc. Overnight stay at Kodaikanal
Day 09 : Kodaikanal - Munnar (120 kms - 4hrs):
After an early morning breakfast, check out from the hotel &
embark on a fascinating journey to Munnar enjoying the stunning
panoramic view of the Cardamom hills & green carpets of tea
plantations enroute. On arrival, check in at Hotel / Resort . Spend
the rest of the day at leisure trekking around the estate. Overnight
stay at Munnar.
Day 10 : Munnar:
A morning sight seeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam
National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally
called the Nilgiri Tahr, the Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm,
Old Munnar Town, the town market etc...Rest of the day at leisure and
enjoy another overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 11: Munnar - Thekkady (120 kms - 4 hrs)
After an early breakfast, check out from the Hotel & proceed to
the wildlife sanctuary at Periyar / Thekkady and check in at the Hotel
/ Resort. Go on an evening game viewing cruise on the Periyar
Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which
include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a lot of
unique birds can also be spotted. Later, come back to the hotel :
relax & enjoy your stay overnight.
Day 12 : Thekkady - Cochin (160 kms - 5 hrs):
After breakfast check out of the resort and proceed to Cochin. Check
in at the hotel, after lunch at 1330 hrs go on a pleasant boat ride
across the Cochin Harbour, which takes you to the gateway of the
Arabian Sea. On arrival at Fort Cochin, proceed on a sight
seeing tour, which includes a visit to the Dutch Palace, Jewish
Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets, etc. After the
thrilling boat ride, go on a shopping spree of the city center before
returning to your hotel.
Day 13: Cochin - Alleppey
- Houseboat (120 kms - 3 hrs)
Enjoy the magic of Kumarkom - Alleppey by going on a Houseboat (Kettuvallam)
cruise across the backwaters. Spend the next 24 hours in your floating
villa. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the
village life at close quarters, a unique and unforgettable experience.
Enjoy the sunset & stay overnight on the houseboat.
Day 14: Alleppey - Kovalam (160 kms - 4 hrs):
Checkout of the houseboat and proceed to Kovalam. Enroute you
can see many romantic beauty of the nature which will remind you that
you are in the "God's Own Country". You can view coconut
palm fringed roads. Check -in at the Hotel. Later proceed for a sight
seeing of Thiruvananthapuram covering Museum complex, Padmanabha
Swamy Temple, Science & Technology museum, Veli tourist village,
Aakulam Boat Club, Shangmugham Beach. Over night stay at Kovalam.
Day 15: Kovalam - Kanyakumari (120 kms - 4 hrs)
After breakfast proceed for Kanyakumari- is the land's end of India
where the water of the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian
Ocean meet. An important pilgrim centre of India, it is famous for the
Amman Temples- a symbol of unity and sanctity - dedicated to the virgin
Goddess, Kanya Kumari. To its South- East lies the famous
Vivekananda Rock Memorial , a blend of all the architectural styles of
India. Evening enjoy the beautiful sun set. Overnight stay at hotel in
Kanyakumari.
Day 16: Kanyakumari - Kovalam (120 kms - 4hrs) :
After watching sunrise proceed to Kovalam. Full day at leisure
at Kovalam Beach. Overnight at Kovalam Beach hotel.
Day 17: Departure Kovalam - Trivandrum (35 kms - 1 hr):
Depart as per schedule to the Airport / Railway Station to Trivandrum
